Overview: Internal alterations only, including; the partial removal of a chimney breast and internal walls to create a large family bathroom.

Details: Our involvement began with an on-site inspection to evaluate the proposed alterations and identify potential effects on the structure's vertical and lateral stability. We conducted measurements and developed a conceptual layout to illustrate the necessary structural interventions. Subsequently, we prepared final structural AutoCAD drawings and the required structural calculations to ensure compliance with the Building Act and Building Regulations.

Due to the presence of a shared chimney, steelwork was needed to provide the necessary support for the remaining chimney stack above, ensuring the structural integrity of the shared feature.
