Findon Village.

New Dormers, Findon Village:

Overview: The project featured the addition of two dormers onto an existing roof, in the heart of Findon Village. The dormers facilitated the conversion of a small attic into two spacious and useable rooms.

Details: Our commission started with a site inspection to determine how the proposals would impact the existing roof and what structural strengthening works would be required. To ensure there was adequate headroom within the footprint of the dormers, cranked steel beams were designed, allowing the ceiling to be positioned as high as possible, whilst maintaining the sloped roof externally.
